That's why I have never evacuated my house. I will NOT leave my cats - ever! We were together the night Hurricane Fran dropped a tree on the house!
It's one of my pet peeves - why shelters won't allow pets (suitably restrained/boxed) brought in.
It will probably kill me some day - but I will NOT abandon my furry family members.
