Yes beer is good but makes me burp, plus other things. I also like my stomach flat. Leffe, that's what we have in the fridge. The French sell it in small 25 cc bottles. Very convenient, what they call a Demi.

For dinner we had an apero of white rum colonial with orange juice, plus few glasses from a new box of Chardonnay. Not my wine, but not bad. I will not buy it again. I prefer Sauvignon. I made a salad, with lettuce and these gorgeous French tomatoes, there was some lox, some white ham in persil, a bit of cheese. Summer.

To day was so hot. 30 and the water 27. It's mid summer. Late mid summer. Mmm ... Nights are sweet, here on the French Riviera. What to do now. Wait for Daughter to finish her charge, drink a lemoncello. Chat a bit on the porch under a huge umbrella pine. The mood looks good.

The coffee just arrived. Daughter is not slowing down yet, though.
