Oh I have a story about this! This must have been "reissued" by Disney when I was about three or four. Mom and Dad took me to see it. Keep in mind that I only weighed 4 lbs when I was born and my growth never did catch up, so I'm this little tiny thing that as my mom used to put it "didn't even look like you should be walking". So we're walking out of the theater and Mom asks me, "Well, how did you like the movie?" and my reply? "It was ok, but I didn't like that damned dragon!" eliciting gasps from the people near us and snorts of laughter from my dad, who always griped at my mother for using such language around me... *grin*. Remember, this was somewhere around 1969.

Anyway, as for what I remember: I remember when kids had manners or if they didn't, they were forcibly instilled. One of my son's little girlfriends decided that yesterday was a good day to mouth off at me. I did call her on it, but doubt I managed to improve anything and probably embarrassed the snot out of my son in the process. She's already got the "I know everything and I don't have to listen to you" attitude that seems prevalent among teens these days.
