Goldie cat saved my life!
Goldie cat has developed a nighttime routine - she waits for me to go to bed & get all snuggled in. Then she hops up, snuggles against my ribs, and I wrap an arm around her. She stays put all night. Like a live teddy bear that purrs.
In the morning, she wakes me before the alarm with wet nose kisses and by gently patting my face with her paw.
So, last night began as usual. We were all snuggled down, and I was just falling asleep when Goldie abruptly sat up and began reaching for my chin & neck - but never touching me. Like she was trying to point to something. I groggily swiped my hand over my neck - and to my inexpressible horror lifted a spider off my neck and flung it off the bed. It was BIG! I put on the light, and Goldie and I thoroughly explored the bed covers before settling back down to sleep! We never did find that spider, but I'm planning to do some spraying tonight around the headboard and under the bed. Yikes!
