For the eink side, its settings/Edge Settings/Reader Preferences, then chose your font size. For PDF's I use Ezpdf. I copy my PDF's to Word then double space them so I have room for annotations before I save them to PDF. I'm on a Mac though and its only a 1 click process to save as a PDF. I'm not sure about Windows.
Anyway, Ezpdf has a Zoom feature that seems to work well. I don't care for PDF's on the eink side, just Epub's.
