I remember when a Three Musketeers bar cost 5 cents and had indentations so you could break it to share with two other friends.

I remember the strip of paper with candy 'dots' on it, one strip for a penny.

I remember 'leather' ski boots and 'bear trap' bindings.

I remember carrying my skate key on a string around my neck.

I remember bicycles with coaster breaks and big spring shock absorbers.

I remember when the TV took five minutes to warm up.

I remember when everybody's Mom was home when we came home from school

I remember eating Koolaid powder right out of the package.

I remember when a slice of pizza and a coke cost 25 cents.

I remember when telephone numbers were just three digits and you asked the operator to connect you.

I remember the Ice truck delivering blocks of ice to the corner market, and the Ice Man giving us kids chips of ice to suck on in the summer time.

I remember when margarine was sold as a 'white' colored product, with a little bag of yellow food coloring that my mother would mix in before we used it.

I remember buying gas in California in 1969, paying 18 cents a gallon because there was a 'gas war' going on between stations in the area.

I remember playing 'hide and seek' at night, running through back alleys and over roof tops, not worrying about getting mugged.
