The base device may be sufficient for many, email/browsing/movies/music. There's already a number of apps available for the tablet, others may or may not come depending on whether HP manage to license WebOS to over HW makers (some are hoping they do and the low cost makes it a minor risk to take)
Then there's the group that have bought it and will be waiting for a Android port to become available (currently in progress).
I tried to get one for several of the reasons above
Sadly missed out, but saved some cash
