That is bizarre since as far as I know, even the Kobo Desktop only accesses the Kobo as a disk system.

When the Kobo is plugged in, if you go to the Windows System Tray and find the icon for "Safely remove device" does it show the Kobo there and if so, is there a drive letter listed?
