I've had my Kindle since Christmas, and have now read about 20 books on it. I purchased the kindle cover from Amazon, but found that even though it was not the lighted version, it ran down the battery and made it almost unuseable. To their credit Amazon refunded the full cost of the cover. I do volunteer driving taking people to hospital appointments, and the kindle is ideal, as I can sit a read whilst I am waiting for them.
