because most of the jets manufactured and delivered are older than the windows computing the majority of the jets in the air right now were made between 1988-1995 with a few minor updates in newer variations wich usually only had 10-20 jets ever delivered.
think about it the backbone of our airlines were designed in the 60's and 70's with the 737 designed in 1965 the 747 designed in 1963, the 767 designed in 1970, the 777 was designed in 1988 basicly our airfleet was all designed before the windows pc. thats why there arent Pc's in there
I dont think people realize how old the fleet of jets are in the united states, the good news is boeing got certified for its boeing 787 dreamliner wich after many delays and 6 years behind on its 827 orders will be starting delivery in japan this month

and looks to replace both the aging 747 and 767 fleets
