No -- the issue is bigger than I thought...
I BOUGHT the book, and then the book that I purchased looked exactly like HIS screenshot -- all of the suit symbols did not work in the purchased product.
Furthermore -- I ran a test on a couple of other books as well -- I looked at the sample file, looked perfect. I BOUGHT the book, and the full-version of the book had the suit symbols show up as boxes.
I'm completely stumped. Is there a problem with my file? (But then how do the samples work correctly?). I have no idea what needs to be done to get the full book to look as good as the samples do. Kindle themselves made the sample files, I had nothing to do with that.
