Finishing pot one of Rooibos Lemon. I was surprised that the Iron Goddess I made yesterday never unfurled. The leaves loosened a bit but they were still balled up after a third steeping. There was plenty of space for them to expand so that was not the issue.
A couple that is dating and not living together is used to having plenty of time on their own interspersed with fun time together. But when the day is done or night or whatever, you have your own place to go home to. You have your own routines.
When you travel together you have limited space and limited time apart. If you are sharing a hotel room then you have to deal with different toilet habits and sleeping habits.
Hubby hates sheets and loves duveys. If we are staying at a place with sheets he kicks the sheets out from the bed so he can wrap himself up like it is a duvey. I will sometimes ask for a second top sheet and blanket so he can have his own sheet nightmare and I can be comfy with my organized sheets.
When I travel with my friend we have one day in the middle of the week where she does her own thing and I do my own thing. I love going to art museums, she loves wax museums. We meet up for dinner. It is a nice change of pace.
