I think travelling does taste relationship.
Husband and wife.
Day-to-day life is a routine. They follow the same well-trodden roads each day, they have their own niches and safe havens. They are used to it, the might not even notice each other to a certain degree. They interact with many people, they most likely have an active social life.
Holiday.
When they leave their house and go for a trip it a whole lot different kettle of fish. All of sudden they are pulled out of their comfort zone and thrown into a new environment. They start to interact with each other on a different level, see good/bad sides in a different light, have to live with it whether they like it or not, because there is no where to go. They have to enjoy/suffer each other presence 24/7 for a week, or two without their friends to dilute it.
It could be a lot of fun, it could be dead boring, it could be intolerable. Without any warning they are together for a long time and they find out that they enjoy it more than anything else in the world, or that they cannot stand each other one more minute.
I know for a fact that some couples returned devastated from holiday.
Anyway, it is hectic at work, only the second cup of tea - Keemun. I think I am going to make third cuppa, Keemun again.
