The reviews are so-so and now that the WebOS is no longer supported, chances are you wont find more updates or software for the thing. No Android hack for it yet so you might hope one comes out but thats a bit of a guess.

It's not like the device will suddenly stop functioning altogether if/when HP drops support. Most of the performance issues can be remedied by overclocking to 1.7 GHz (might be at the expense of battery life, though). At the very least, it'll make for a decent portable media player without having to go through hoops with iTunes and given the device supports Flash, it should deliver a pretty decent web browsing experience (although it's nice not being subjected to Flash ads on the iPad and non-Flash Android).
