I compare it to my book reading addiction. There was not one day during those 4 weeks when I didn't read a book for 30 minutes at the very least.

On the other hand, there is one specific thread that I would miss.
Addiction? Not at all. I feel affection for the company of very nice, smart and intelligent people over there. I value their company on the par with a company of my RL friends that are few but dear.
Could I stop coming here? Without a shadow of a doubt, Yes. However, it would be my loss. I would deprive myself of something important. Such as interaction with people whose opinions I value.
