Jon, I'm going to type slowly so please try to keep up...Amazon is a large company whose entire purpose in life is to turn a profit. It is not good or bad. It is not evil or a savior. And it is most definitely not out to get you...it does not even know you exist (even after 25,000 posts). My only thoughts on Amazon are that it sells a quality e-reader and has exceptional customer service. So, try to lighten up.
