The changing avatars can befuddle me too. Whenever I see a certain tuxedoed penguin, I think it's bOb. And I still think of Nate the Great with the green ogre avatar he used when I first joined up.
However, I too have never had a problem identifying JWolf's rotating penguins...they're at least "on a theme".
