From the time I first saw the sale, there were new sources popping up throughout the day. Initially, OoS was what saved me from myself, but then there were more at barnesandnoble, the HP site then after reports that best buy was going to ship them back to hp, it looked like maybe they changed their mind and were selling them again and various sources slickdealers were digging up, and I almost got caught up in the fever again.
But you're right, they did get snatched up pretty quickly. I've already spotted one story claiming the response to the fire sale was proof the tablet market was more than a 1 product niche. That more people were looking for tablets, they just hadn't found the right balance of price and features.
