[adaptation]

Hey, all.

I got my Kobo Touch last week and originally just drag & dropped a bunch of books onto it. Then I noticed that all the metadata was all screwed up, which really irritated me, and I downloaded Calibre to fix it.

I loaded all the books from the Kobo to Calibre, fixed all the metadata, and then deleted all the books from the KT. Once it was clean, I loaded all the newly-fixed books to the KT with Calibre. I did get the Processing New Content screen (forever), but now when I turn on the KT, it only shows 23 of the 1000+ e-books I loaded with Calibre -- and the metadata is still screwed up.

When I plug the KT back in, my Finder window (I'm on a Mac) shows all the books I loaded as residing on the Kobo (just under the two files Calibre automatically puts there), but Calibre itself only shows the 23 books the KT reads as available.

Any ideas what's going on here?


Edit: I deleted those two .calibre files and checked the Kobo, but it's still only showing those 23 books with the screwed up metadata.
