No, because there's a difference between a translation of someone else's work and an original work. Really, that's an obvious distinction and I don't know why you're struggling with it. I note you're abandoning your original position that Chinese Maze Murders wasn't published until 1962, however.

The facts really do speak for themselves in this instance.
