To a T!
This time I failed to adjust to the time difference. However, in every negative there is something positive. It means that by 21.00 I was falling asleep. I would turn off the light by 22.00 the latest. Where was the fun? The fun was every morning.
Wake up at 05.30 - 06.00! At 05.30 it is still dark, by 06.00 when I come to the beach the sun is rising. It is so peaceful. The quite is gently disturbed by a soft breaking of Caribbean sea waves. Nirvana
I had been drinking tons of La Nopalea cactus juice, just like 3 years ago in Riviera Maya 20km to the north from where I stayed this time. In their spa I have found a new, odd, drink - chlorophil.
Lots and lots of sun. Swimming and diving
My wife as usual attracts people (they don't let me read a book and want to chat). Although, this time she was a bit too busy by dividing her time between morning Yoga, aerobics and spa.
The first time in my life I spoke to a gay couple. I have never before met/befriended real gays. My wife, as usual, within three days in an adult pool pointed her finger and said these guys are gays. I dismissed her remark. Two males in a pool probably are just buddies in my opinion. However, she was right. This couple was not a typical gay couple. Atypical in a sense that at home they don't dress any different from straight men, they don't go to gay clubs. Eventually I did notice subtle differences

My wife exchanged emails with them, so they might stay in touch and friends. Smart and intelligent guys, well more likely grown up men (in their 40+). I learned from them about New York state was the sixth state in the USA that recognised the same sex marriages. It was a bit of surprise. I thought that in the USA it was across the country for a long time. We spent a lot of time chatting during our second week and went to an Italian restaurant together on our last day.
This time I was not in a mood/condition to travel, so I spent all the time either on the beach or at the pool. It was raining quite a lot - a real fun. A warm rain in the middle of a hot day. I did what I was dreaming to do for many years. When it was pouring I was either in a pool or in the sea

Water bellow, water from above
Although, one time it was a bit painful. Actually, it was funny

We were in a shade on the beach when it started raining. All people grabbed their stuff and ran for cover. What did Astra do? Precisely. Did the opposite. He went for a swim

Did Astra know that the rain drops could be painful? No? He does now.
I thought I am going to submerge into water. Obviously leaving head above. My poor ears. It was painful! I checked a few times whether it was a rain or a hail but it was a mere rain but so powerful! Great experience though

I pretended it was a natural aqua massage
I had read 3 great books. Two of them I dissected into quotes (found a good use for note taking feature of my reader).
The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Zafon
What a book....one of the best I have read in the decade.
I needed something a bit uplifting, so I read
Three men in a boat (to say nothing of the Dog). Satirical and humorous books are not my type and.... I could not stop laughing. Brilliant book.
I was on ebook readers hunt.
The results were a bit better than 3 years ago.
8 kindles. 6 of K3; 1 white, so probably K2 and 1 DX.
Although, none on the plane.
I have discovered a Sony Reader touch screen's Achilles' heel.
One day an ant wanted to see what I was reading. Since we didn't understand each other and he could not ask me, he climbed up my arm and landed on the screen

He must have liked the book and I am sure he was a speed reader. I didn't know the pages could turn so fast!
I didn't gain any weight? Although it was all-inclusive! There was a huge variety of food. Fish and meat cooked in front of me were my favourites

We went twice to Argentinian a la carte to eat Argentinian steak Arachero

Countless cocktails and
many ice creams
It reminds me that my throat is dry and I got to make a cuppa.
Ah, by the way. I missed tea. After I came home, for the first three days I drunk only black teas, mostly Fortnum and Mason's Assam and blends and a bit of China black. Maybe one or two Sencha.
Only now I am getting back to blue and green teas
