I'm not saying Amazon is shooting themselves in the foot--you've misread me (as Amardoll pointed out--thanks!). I'm talking about people who are promoting their Kindle-only ebooks. THEY are the ones shooting themselves in the foot.

I really don't care what Amazon does. I'll sell there, but I don't shop there.
