I was just irritated enough to spend 10 minutes doing a search and found plenty of data supporting the use of one or more X-servers at all levels...

As I'm not an apologist for Apple, I only mention this in passing because your earlier remark about Apple tech was wrong but since you obviously know better then believe what you like... I just remembered that their server tech was being used and at high levels so I checked for information before commenting... and yes, X-servers aren't the only game in the ballpark but they are considered serious contenders by MIT, Japanese earthquake studies groups (X-serve cluster supercomputer) and many others... and no, I won't provide links because if you want them then do a simple search... something like "OS-X server supercomputers"
Sorry to disagree,

I was fully aware of that link and products. But that does not compete with Oracle or HP high end servers.

Go check or ask what Fortune companies run or use for their Oracle databases and info. It is not an Apple server for sure.

No need for link. My group runs/admin most of those high end servers around the globe, even outside the company. I have never seen an Apple one, sorry.

Again, talking about serious business, big companies, big budgets.
