As I'm not an apologist for Apple, I only mention this in passing because your earlier remark about Apple tech was wrong but since you obviously know better then believe what you like... I just remembered that their server tech was being used and at high levels so I checked for information before commenting... and yes, X-servers aren't the only game in the ballpark but they are considered serious contenders by MIT, Japanese earthquake studies groups (X-serve cluster supercomputer) and many others... and no, I won't provide links because if you want them then do a simple search... something like "OS-X server supercomputers"
