While I usually don't buy refurbished devices, either, there are cases where I make an exception. Both Apple and B&N refurbs are as good as the original (with new battery and chassis) and have the same 1 year warranty that their brand new counterparts have. In this case, why pay full price when you can get the exact same thing for much cheaper?
