Please, let's not continue in this vein. My post was misinterpreted; that's an end to the matter. I should perhaps have explained the situation at greater length in my initial reply.

Unfortunately we have to make a distinction between DRM removal from books which you've bought (and want to transfer to a different device) and those which are time limited, such as library books or rented textbooks. I think that most of us would agree that we have no problem with the former, but that the latter is, to say the least, unethical.
