What version of desktop are you on? On mine, there is a little i in a circle that when I clickin tells me it's version 2.03.

Also, the CTRL+SHIFT+I (and that the letter I) gives me a log file kobo-logfile.txt llocated on my Desktop, so in my case c:\Users\Peter\Desktop\kobo-logfile.txt
