Waking up Calibre to run a recipe

I like to have my NewsPapers downloaded ready for my Kindle before I going out each morning. The recipes I use take a long time to run so to save my computer running all night, I use a tiny free utility "Wake On Standby" for Windows basd PC's.

This is able to wake up my PC from either sleep or hibernation, at a set time each day and then run Calibre. Calibre is set to wait a few minutes and then download the News Papers.

This saves a lot of wear on my PC ( a laptop ) and energy.

Have a look at http://tinyurl.com/3wk2hn

Hope this helps others.
