I havn't had that issue. knock on wood.
my issues are mainly...
- sometimes single tap does not register then next tap turns two pages.
-book I am reading on my sd card does not show up on home screen. I have to add it to shortlist as a workaround to get to it quickly.
- sometimes my kobo wont turn on. After several tries it does eventually work.
