Seems to be more of a question of which ebookshop and shopsystem you do prefer. If you are not that dependent on buying stuff but plan to use the "Onleihe"-System that many of the german public libraries now employ and don't mind the shorter intervals between reloading the battery ... I'd go for the bebook neo.

good point about the Onleihe - I never thought about it as I read mostly in English - the German offerings being pretty slim so far.
I dropped the Nook from my list, mainly for lack of support in Europe. Daring thought: get both the Kindle and the Beo? With a Kindle paid in $ instead of € and a refurbished Beo? Hmm. Might work.
