Why were you anywhere near that folders contents
, let alone with a Delete key.
The entire folder is designed to be soley managed by Calibre. Touching the wrong thing, wrongly can break Calibre.
Running the Library check (same place you found 'Restore') will tell you about files found that don't
belong to Calibre.
