You'll note that in that thread I more or less agree with him.

I've got a strong feeling that there isn't really a viable large-device pure tablet market, and that what people really want is an iPad not a tablet.

I wouldn't be surprised if we see the tablet market falter in a few years time as the novelty wears off, with the iPad still having the lion's share of the larger devices. I think there could be a good market for 7" devices dominated by Android, and for larger screens a convergence with the netbook market, but now with detachable screens similar to the Asus Transformer.
