There is this old lady in my street, she is from Tahiti, and cooks on order. We had caramelized pork with perfumed rice, and shrimp beignets with a pink sauce, but so sweet, mellow and good. Little daughter just loved it.

Drinks? We had a Bitter Campari, first and S. Nicolas de Bergeuil with the dinner. It is one of the few French wines in purity, maybe the only one. It is a Cabernet Franc, you can drink it cool. I mean one can drink wines the way one wants. Imagine. But this one is supposed to be cool. It was not extraordinary, no punch, no challenge, maybe because it costs only 5 tallers. But I would like to find a good one for less than 10 to take home, a case or two. Nice in warm weather. There is wine shop in town, I will try with him.

For Friday the lady could make for us a Tahitian salad whose main attraction is raw tuna marinated in Lemmon juice. I'll order it tomorrow.
