The JooJoo was actually released the week before the iPad, on sale and with pre-orders being fulfilled from 25 March 2010.

is to an increase in JooJoo pre-orders following Steve Jobs keynote
announcement of the iPad, i.e. its debut on 27 January 2010, not its actual release. The iPad actually began to ship a week after the JooJoo shipped, on 3rd April 2010.
