Thanks Neil, - i've dropped it a couple of times over the last week while reading in bed

and the screen seems to have smudged a bit in places but doesnt get too much in the way of the text.
I haven't seen anything to tempt me to replace my 505 - i'd probably get a replacement instead - I only want to read, not download, or make notations, so the bigger the screen the better to get a page on it
