I agree with the comment function . I mostly use the Karma function just to do that. - To give comments to a post.

As this thread has shown the Karma function is a sensitive topic where almost everyone has an opinion.

In some ways I do believe the Karma system is flawed:
What's the use for one single user to be able to give a default Karma score of a very high number (me included, I can give 10.000 each time )?

Setting the value to a maximum upper limit when giving Karma would probably take away some of the criticism being raised here.

On a final note, I truly believe that Karma was intended to be something positive and I will continue to think of it that way.
