Borders is going under for a number of reasons, not the least of which was the fact that they relied on Amazon for a long time for their online sales rather than developing their own online store, then later not developing their own proprietary e-reader and selling Sony and Kobo instead. The former was probably MUCH more damaging than the latter.

Stupid business decisions made seven or so years ago are what really sunk the company.
