he didnt write books.he also wrote stories,where human kind CANNOT win.Its just not possible.He wrote about theese great horrors coming from the most abysmall depths of the universe,from the most primodial stages of time.His work is unique in many ways.
One thing I have to relate,though you may not get it at first not being a Lovecraft fan.On youtube,one of the coments said "Cthulhu is just a main antagonist in a book series".
This is hilariously untrue in SO many ways and shows the persons utter lack of knowledge.
1-Cthulhu ISNT an antagonist,simply because theres no one that can BE the subject of his antagonism.Mankind will be destroyed and submited to a glorious dark age of madness, thats it-no hope,no oposition,no victory.
2-Lovecraft only wrote three or so novels,not being in any conection to each other ,most of his works being short stories.
3-Cthulhu PHYSICALY APEARS in ONE of his stories.
