Got the same issue today. I was using the Kobo since one month now and decided to update it and add a few books since I leave town tomorrow.

Not quite funny to loose all my library just before leaving. I'll reput my books on and I wish I won't get any trouble during my vacation. If I do, I'll ask to be refunded in full.
