A Gutenberger says hi!
Been making books for Project Gutenberg since they were scratched into silicon with a pin and magnifying glass in 5-bit Baudot code.
Even done a dozen or so hundred pages on Project Gutenberg Distributed Proofreaders.
Likewise, recorded hours of digital audio-books for the Librivox project.
And all without owning an eReader.
Always used old desktops, Palm Pilots, Pocket PCs and old dumpster laptops.
But now I have a kobo wifi ereader. W00T! $60 at the RIP sale at my local Borders.
I find the eink to be annoyingly slow to update. This makes reading slow and using a reference book almost impossible. The lack of search and touch screen is frustrating too.
Maybe I'll try a color Nook. Any opinions?
