Sony's PRS-950 comes with a browser as well, though it only works in wifi and not 3G. On a campus that shouldn't be an issue though, as I recall my college had wifi everywhere.
The 950 has an on-screen keyboard (use with stylus or long nails), and can search, highlight and notate in books as well. Though the best part with it, in my opinion, is the 7-inch screen.
