If Amazon releases a touch screen Kindle, I will buy on day 1. The last few rumors I saw were annoucements for the Tablet and K4 in August, with release dates in October.

I had a chance to play around with the Nook Touch the other day and was quite impressed by the touch interface. I won't stray from Amazon but would like to see a touch reader with no physical keyboard.

To those of you worried about fingerprints....don't be. The Nook on display at Best Buy had no fingerprints on it and I'm guessing it gets "touched" a lot. There is no glass screen like you have on smartphones.

Oh, Amazon, if you are listening....I want a touch screen but I still want physical page turn buttons!! (yes, I know the Nook Touch has them, and they are nice)

I am interested to see what Amazon has up their sleeve because it seems they are the reigning champs with the Kindle and it would almost be a little disappointing if they release something that is very similar to the Kobo and Nook touchscreens. I wonder what will separate them from the pack?
