Free books... check out two places. First the eBoos forum/download sections here. Second, check out the Wiki https://wiki.mobileread.com/wiki/Free_eBooks .

ALso, check out the conversion software wiki... but I would recommend libprs500. If they are DRMed lit books, google for ConvertLIT, download it and follow the readme.txt. https://wiki.mobileread.com/wiki/E-book_conversion
