I can understand and sympathize with the ePub library patrons already dealing with unbelievable wait times and seeing the spectre of hundreds of thousands of Kindle users coming into the fold - I used to have a bunch of Sony Readers too - but it's not a very altruistic fear.
Those Kindle users have just as much right to access their tax-funded libraries as do the existing ePub users.
I find it amusing how some people have developed such a possessive attitude about library access. Entitlement much?
