Lol, same here. It kept slipping from my hands until I got a rubbery silicon case for it. I have fairly small hands and it still wasn't particularly comfortable to hold single handed. Have owned 3 iPhone's (iPhone 2G, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4) and I've never had an issue with ergonomics on those.
