Sorry for the misunderstanding .

Given, though, that this is a problem that EVERY country-wide "bricks and mortar" retailer which sells on-line has to sort out, there must be a solution. What do retailers like, say, B&N, do?

It's so much easier in Europe, where countries have a single, nation-wide, tax rate!
