This is good for you! However, less accomplished readers than you, might incur dissatisfaction adhering to your policy.
Reading Dean Koonz novels, with ONE heroine, ONE hero and ONE Villain, might satisfy those sceptics, who don't seem to need a SEARCHING function.
Decades long, serial novels might teach you a different story.
