I have the same question as Joco1114, is there a specific version of CoolReader that is required for reading DOCs? I just downloaded the latest one from Sourceforge yesterday, and it doesn't even register that there are DOCs on the SD-card I direct it to. Am I doing something wrong or am I just using the wrong version of CR? (cr3-0-40-08)
By the way, I too had the problem where I downloaded and the file I ended up with was a zip. I kept downloading and downloading (getting zip files each time) until finally, for no reason I can figure, the file I got stayed apk. So I'm kind of wondering... if that happens and you end up with a zip file instead of an apk, which was what you were downloading, would it work at all to simply change the file type from .zip to .apk?
