I don't recall, exactly, but with Safely Remove, it seems to think that the device is still accessing something.
It brings me to a window where I'm supposed to be able to stop it, but it still thinks it's accessing something. It even tells me this when everything is closed on my computer.
I don't remember about Eject - it may be that it just froze, but I can't recall exactly.
