I am thinking about buying Kindle and I am not sure if I am willing to pay additional 25-30 $ for a case (if it there cheaper maybe). For me the only danger would be to drop it then not reading. If you can fall asleep reading, you should find a different book to read. Good books usually keeps me awake not sleepy.
I think I would be willing to pay extra for 2 years extra warranty as stuff tends to not work properly around me (not because of physical damage, dropping).
